Dancing with the Stars April 30, 2012 Scores DWTS 4/30/12 Call Numbers

It’s week 7 and 7 remaining teams left on Dancing With the Stars and this time, the teams go Classical. The dance couples will be dancing twice like in the previous week. Their first dance is one unlearned dance from the past weeks and the second one is a team dance, comprising of three dance couple in each team. Who do you think will be the top scorer tonight? Will it be Katherine & Mark once again? Find out the Dancing With the Stars scores for week 7.

The routines for tonight are Viennese Waltz, Argentine Tango, Rumba and Paso Doble for the first dance while it’s either Tango or Paso Doble for the second dance.

Mark & Katherine will be performing the dance of love, Rumba. As much as possible he wants to keep theirs classy, sophisticated, elegant and passionate. He said he’s using all traditional choreography with an old classical story line and costumes that will take the audience back hundreds of years. For their tango, they put a little twist on the theme. Meanwhile, Maria & Derek will have the Paso Doble. He tweeted that Queen vampire Maria is ready to bite. Donald is also excited for tonight’s show and feels really good about where him and Peta are at with their waltz. They want to get the perfect score. Will they be given one tonight?

Roshon, on the other hard, feels like he’s just a little ant trying to just stick around. Compared to William Levy, he said he just don’t have the same thing going on, but he’s hanging in there and proud to be who he is.

Meanwhile, will Melissa & Maks be able to cope up with their teammates for their team dance? How about Jalleel & Kym? Will they be given a high score for their first routine again?

  1. There is something very wrong with the judging this year. Tonight’s group Paso deserved 10s it was outstanding. It just seems as if the mirror ball is headed in Katherine’s directing.

    • Agree with you about the judges being very wrong with the scoring this season. But disagree with you about their favorite. I don’t believe it’s Katherine. I believe the judges and show’s producers are desperate for Derek to be in the finals. It doesn’t even matter what partner he has, they just want Derek in the finals. How else do you explain the constant overscoring of Derek & Maria this season. They did not deserve a 30 tonight!

  2. These judges are out of their minds this year. Giving people high scores when they dont deserve it, not giving when they do. And as for Bruno, give that Crush on William a rest!!!

  3. I agree the judging seems bad this year. Even though my favorite dancers were in Team Tango, the Paso routine was far better than the Tango routine, but the Tango scored higher. I agree that it is time for Melissa to go home. She’s not bad, but she’s not in the same class as some of the other dancers. I’ve only been glad to see her around because I like to look at Max.
And I’m not sure I like this new dancing dual. I normally distribute my votes to the ones I think did the best. Why bother voting when the judges take that power away from the audience? There was a time I would have thought that would be great considering some good dancers have gone home too soon in the past. But this year the judges seem to have personal favorites and they can’t be counted on to choose the best dancer to stay.

  4. I don’t understand comments about the judging being biased toward Derek. I thought he and Maria have put out some great performances this year and were underscored, while some people have been overscored. Don’t get me wrong, Katherine is great and has done well, but she was overscored for her Samba. KYet, a lot of people think Derek is the favorite. I have no standout favorite, yet, but I do think Derek and Maria have been underrated by the judges on several occasions.

Another underrated dancer this season has been Roshon. I’ve never heard of him before this season, but the kid has talent and he’s rarely pleased the judges. I will be disappointed to see him go, but I think there’s a strong chance he will go tonight.

  5. and when did all of you haters become dance pro’s. Just because you go to a bar and dance doesn’t make you a pro. These people have done the time! Try competing then complain!

  6. I agree that Katherine, Maria, and Donald are at the top, while the others fight it out for the middle. I did not mention William because there are times when the judges seem to over rate him, based on his looks or fan reaction in the audience. On the other hand, the remaining 3, Melissa, Jaleel, and Rashon, though not as strong, are sometimes under rated. I thought that the judges were too harsh on Melissa last night. Maybe they did a few too many lifts, I felt their dance was much better than a 21. BTW, the scores have been way too high since the first night. For someone to feel bad because they received a 24 is ridiculous! And yet for the 3rd week, 24 was the lowest score – this season is not like the others!! I like it, but it is tough to judge. For tonight, Melissa, Jaleel, and Rashon have the lowest scores and Rashon seems to have problems staying out of jeopardy even for the weeks where his scores are good. I think he just doesn’t have much fan base depth. I had never heard of him before – but I am old 😀
