Dancing with the Stars May 7, 2012 Scores DWTS 5/7/12 Call Numbers

It’s another performance night on Dancing With the Stars and the six remaining teams will be doing two routines. There’s going to be something “new” again this season. Called the “Trio Challenge”, the final 6 teams will dance with another professional who have been eliminated or a professional who participates in the dance troupe, to perform with them in their second routine. Who will top the leaderboard tonight? Will one of the teams be given perfect score once again? Find out the Dancing With the Stars scores for week 8 tonight.

The routines for first dance are Tango, Foxtrot, Waltz and Viennese Waltz. For the “Trio Challenge”, the routines are Jive, Samba, Cha-cha-cha and Paso Doble.

Mark is excited to perform tonight. He blogs that the Viennese Waltz is probably one of his favorites of the ballroom danced and he’s really excited to be given a beautiful piece of music. He said he have come up with a romantic, heart-wrenching concept, something that has a Titanic/Romeo and Juliet vibe. The other professional who’s joining them is Tristan MacManus. Meanwhile, William is quite the fast learner. He learned their new routine in a hour so that Cheryl could go home early to celebrate her birthday. The pro dancer who’ll be joining them is Sharna Burgess, who William thinks could either make him look good or destroy him.

Derek’s partner Maria, on the other hand, has been seen wearing a cast on her left foot since Tuesday night after the show. Will their team get another perfect score tonight? The pro dancer who will join them in the trio challenge is Henry Byalikov.

Donald & Karina are working overtime as well on their routines and they are very pleased that Karina will be helping them for the second dance. Donald said they are definitely trying to pick her brain a little bit for any tips she can give us for them to win the Mirror Ball trophy.

Melissa & Maks, whom many were expecting to be in the bottom two or be eliminated last week are safe and will be performing Waltz and Samba (with Val). Will they be the lowest scoring couple again or Val will be able to get them a high score?

Roshon & Chelsie escaped elimination last week so they sure are practicing hard to perfect their steps. Roshon says it’s going to be intense this week with two dances and double elimination. Their routines are Foxtrot and Paso Doble (with Emma Slater).

Who will step up this week? Will Maria & Mark top the leaderboard again, or will Katherine & Mark snatch it from them once again? Find out what the scores are later on. In the meantime, follow us on Twitter, add us on Google Plus or like us on Facebook for updates on Dancing With the Stars and other reality shows. The call and text numbers are already here for you to vote. The routines are also posted. The Dancing With the Stars 5/7/12 scores will be provided here during the show.

  1. Good luck to Donald & Peta tonight! But uh-oh they are going first tonight, so remember to vote vote vote for Donald if you’re a fan. Thanks!

  2. Team roshon!!!! Vote everyone l, I really don’t wanna see him leave this week with the double elimination. Good luck & thanks 2 everyone that votes for him:)

    • SHOULD YOU NEED PROOF THAT THE JUDGES FAVOR DEREK, JUST SEE THE SCORES THEY GAVE TO MARIA WITHOUT DEREK. SO SAD THE JUDGES ARE SO BIASED AGAINST MAKS AND BLINDLY FAVOR DEREK.

  3. What’s with the judges – always down on Maks no matter who he dances with. No matter how well he does with his partner they seem biased against him. Go Maks and Melissa – I’ll keep voting for you!

    • Same applies to Maria & Derek. Unfortunately, people are voting for Derek even though Maria is not that good either.

  4. Katherine has always been the best. The judge her to a higher standard then anyone else. To be fair look at all the dances, who looks the best it is crap when the say “ther is no connect or it lacks emotion”. All excuses

  5. Sorry, people, I can’t agree with you on Donald and Roshon. Katherine (definitely!), William, and Maria are the better dancers.

  6. Katherine danced beautifully. She had one little slip towards the end and got slammed hard by the judges. Totally uncalled for, especially considering how Maria has screwed up big time in the past and still got great scores. Judges inconsistent and unfair!

  7. Melissa Gilbert needs to get voted off, she is ABSOLUTELY the weakest dancer. Anyone else that gets voted off instead of her would be a travesty

  8. Roshon is so endearing! His foxtrot was adorable and fun. Glad he finally got some positive feedback and good scores.

  9. Wow William – great foxtrot! For the first time it looked like he was having fun dancing. And he actually danced this week too, so he is capable of doing more than just opening his shirt. lol

  10. Donald “ripped it up” in the jive!! Loved it! And awesome trick at the end with Donald jumping over the 2 girls. Wow!! Darn judges should’ve scored it higher.

  11. I agree with who said that the judges are always very hard on MAX,he can have the best dancer and for some reason they always Rip poor Max to pieces. But that ok that why he has (3) three dance studios……I think that Carry Ann Inarba is very unprofessional and she wants to sleep with William Levy and so does Bruno…………..

  12. I hope Max and Mellisa does not go home tonight. MAX can goose me ANY DAY>>>>>>….<3…….. I am not really a fan of Derek Huff he is to much of himself

  13. I so want Mark Ballas and Katerine to win so badly that Donald Driver and William Levy needs to be humble Rashon is really trying his best. IF i was to vote how the judges vote the dancing i would give them all 7 7 7 and they are so critical why don”t they get up and have another professional judge, judge Carry Ann,Bruno, and Len. They are so old and need to make room for other judges, especially Lenn and Carryann.

  14. Not Mark and not Derek – please!!! Those 2 guys always get ringers to dance with, especially Derek. He shouldn’t be so proud – 2 of his wins were with ringers – Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Grey. Hope William and Cheryl win. Cheryl was robbed the season she and Gille Marini lost. Would like to see her get a 3rd win.

  15. I have to say, that I’ve been wanting Melissa to be voted off weeks ago… and still do. For some reason Max doesn’t bring out the best in her… but did you see how much better she did during rehearsal and during her performance when dancing with Val…? He’s a better teacher for her.

  16. Oh, and I really wish Max would get the ringer so we can see if he could pull it off. Of course, it’s of little difference if they aren’t popular enough to be voted on every week. Personally, I vote for the best celebrity dancer, it doesn’t hurt that the pros have unbelievable choreography, and know how to get the best from their celebs… That is why Derek is so good. I don’t think in a million years Max could have gotten the same results with Nicole or Jennifer.

  17. I have to scratch my head and wonder about all the comments about the judges being biased toward Derek and people saying Maria isn’t good. She is GREAT but then so are all the other celebrities left – except Melissa. Sorry….she just isn’t any good. I could sit and look at Max all night long, but he’s got Melissa and she needs to go. He needs to get a better partner. I’m not seeing the bias that some people are seeing. And really, some people are really a bit over-passionate about a TV show. It’s kind of sad.

  18. Roshon Fegan 4 the win! Been super impressed with all his dances this season. I predict Melissa & Maria will be eliminated. I liked Maria’s first dance but the 2nd one was stupid. Donald: really good. Katherine: I only liked one dance from her & that’s the casino dance, but overall she’s good. Melissa: I really liked her rock week dance to billy idol. William: I have been very dissapointed in all his dances, I wait week after week thinking he’s going 2 have a good dance. I think the dancers with the most potential are: roshon, Donald, & katherine
