There’s going to be a double elimination tonight on Dancing With the Stars week 8 results show. Two more weeks before the finale and there are six teams left. Thus, two dance couple will go home tonight while the other couples will make it to the semi-finals next week. Who do you think will be leaving tonight?
William & Cheryl topped the leaderboard last night. The judges loved their first performance too much that they gave the team a perfect score of 30. Carrie thought it’s so much fun to watch while Len liked the mix of care and flare. For their trio challenge with Tony Dovolani where William lost sync a bit, they got a total score of 27, making their overall total to 57. For sure, this dance couple is safe tonight.
Roshon & Chelsie placed second after getting an overall total of 56 out of 60. They got an almost perfect score of 29 for their first routine and 27 for the trio challenge with Sasha Farber. Len said it was a good job. Bruno thought that was incredible and Carrie Ann said he made them proud. Like William, Roshon went off a few times during the trio challenge. Will Roshon & Chelsie make it to the semi-finals or we’ll finally say goodbye to them tonight?
Katherine & Mark placed third with a total score of 55. They got a total score of 26 for their first routine and a total score of 29 for the trio challenge with Tristan MacManus. The judges loved their first dance except for the spin but they said she totally brought the fire the second time even if there was a clothing issue. Like William & Cheryl, there’s a big chance Katherine & Mark is safe tonight.
Like Katherine & Mark, Donald & Peta got a total score of 55. They got 27 for their first routine and 28 for their second routine with Karina. The judges liked the routine but want them to do a little more drama. Their trio challenge was fun to watch too. Carrie Ann loved the three way. Will they be safe tonight?
Maria & Derek got a total score of 53. They got 28 for their first routine and 25 for their trio challenge with Henry Byalikov. Carrie Ann and Bruno thought it was amazing while Len thought Derek missed a chance to push Maria more while in the hold. However, they only got 25 for their Bollywood inspired samba. Len thought it was false advertising. Will they be in the semi-finals or there will be surprising results and this couple will be leaving?
The lowest scoring couple this week is Melissa & Maks. They only got a total score of 51 out of 60. They got 24 for their first routine and 27 for their trio challenge with Val. The judges commented that last night was her best dance. She did well in both dances.
This dance couple has been in the bottom two last week. Will this couple be in the bottom two tonight? Will they be one of the teams who will leave? (Thank you to commenter LK for correcting us).
Chris Brown will be the musical guest tonight, performing his hit single “Turn Up the Music”. Also, the Macy’s Stars of Dance will give tribute to the late Dick Clark. Expect it to be a huge dance number featuring some pro-dancers.
Who do you think will be the final 4 couples? Which couples will be sent home?
